Discover Scuba Experience
Discover the magic of breathing underwater in this two hour journey to the depths of…well…a local pool. Don’t look at the marine inhabitants too closely!! Think your ears won’t clear? Want to try scuba before you commit?
These sessions are for that! We’ll play games, blow bubbles and just have a great time on scuba in a warm heated pool.

Scuba in Seattle - Test Out Diving in the Puget Sound
On holiday or new to Seattle diving? Never dived in cold water before? Let us show you our beautiful Puget Sound waters and make sure you’re safe and comfortable diving here and ready to dive from boats! To be a safe diver off our boats, you should do a temperate water orientation dive. Sounds really hard but really it is just a shore dive with one of our qualified divemasters or instructors. We will introduce you to the beauty of the underwater world on the shores of Seattle and also make sure your buoyancy is correct and you are correctly weighted.
Not certified? No problem. With this program, we can show you the skills you’ll need to tour underwater and discover the Puget Sound without a full scuba certification. And no worries mate, our dive team will be right by your side the whole time for safety!

More Details
Group Dive: Held in conjunction with our PADI programs or guided dives, this option will introduce you to one of Seattle's stunning dive sites while ensuring you’re comfortable and safe. We will ensure correct weighting to suit the thicker wetsuits used here. These are conducted most weekends
Private Dives: With your own personal PADI Instructor or Divemaster, you will do one or two dives at a location suitable for the conditions on the day. This is a great option if you need a refresher dive but can’t wait for one of our group sessions.
Tropical PADI Referral - South Seattle
This class is ONLY for Vacation divers. We don’t “blend” you in with a Puget Sound based class. We’ll teach you the fundamentals specific to the locations you’re going to dive. Vacation diving is DIFFERENT than diving local. We’ll guide you in how to find the best rental equipment, guides, boats and more…
PADI Open Water Class/Pool
Ready to take the plunge? Our PADI class and pool session will introduce you to the world of underwater wonder through our THOROUGH classes with a live instructor. We do MORE than turn on a video for you…we TEACH. (novel idea, huh?)
In the pool session, you’ll learn the 20 skills you need to go on to complete your Open Water certification. Then you’re ready to schedule your 4 Open Water dives in the Puget Sound, or during your next Tropical vacation. We offer Tropical Referrals to any PADI resort/retailer worldwide.

Open Water dives can be done the same weekend as class/pool or at a different time, honoring your time availability. NEVER more than 4 students per class.
Puget Sound Open Water Certification Dives
Were you not able to complete your Open Water dives during your vacation? Have you already completed a PADI Class and Pool session somewhere else? Just wanting to add the dives to your class and pool session through GirlDiver?
This selection offers 4 Open Water dives conducted over two days. We’ll go over all of the required skill tests AND we’ll have a fun, relaxed time doing it. Our scheduling is semi-flexible (we’ve got alot of people flexing it!!) but we’ll work to make something work for your schedule.

Included is all of the rental gear you require, air for underwater (cuz it's important) and enough weight to get you underwater, but not so much that you're stuck on the bottom.
